Perm Local History Museum is the largest museum complex in the Perm Region. The Museum holds 50 collections of universal, federal and regional importance; there are more than 600 thousand exhibits. The Museum has 22 historical and cultural branches in Perm and Perm region.

The Perm Local History Museum was founded by the Urals Society of Devotees of Natural Science in 1890. The Museum changed the location several times and finally was placed in the former house of known merchant and benefactor N.V. Meshkov. The Classicism-style building with elegant moldings, attic and ornamental portico is deemed one of the most beautiful houses in Perm.

The exposition at the Meshkov House presents the history of the Perm region from the ancient time to introduce days – the landmark goods, cloth, furniture of the epochs, as well as the current exhibitions are provided continuously.

Thursday – from 12 to 21 (ticket office till 20)
